Freeride/All mountain
The freeride boar is the most popular style of snowboard. This type of board is very versitile. You can enjoy carving hard, taking jumps, bomb the mountain, and take pretty much any other type of riding you can through its way over the course of a day. The stance of an all mountian board is off set towards the back giving it a definete tip and tail. The edges also have a more aggressive parabolic shape making this deck carve more aggressive.

Freestyle/Park
The freestyle board is geared toward the rider who likes to session rals or the park. This type of snowboard is generally shorter, wider, and softer than a freeride deck. The stance is also centered over the board to make it easier to ride switch or land fakie. Being softer the board will also handle eaiser on bumps and jumps. But, they have less edge contrl so they do not carve as well.
